Gabrielle G. Palmer

Gabrielle G. Palmer is a member of the firm. She focuses her practice on advising debtors, creditors, creditors committees and trustees in chapter 7 and chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. Gabrielle also represents clients in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts, out of court workouts, collection actions, and other insolvency-related matters.

Representative Matters

  • Represented unsecured creditors committee in a chapter 11 bankruptcy case filed by the developer of a stalled condominium development in a Colorado mountain town.
  • Represented retail debtor in chapter 11 bankruptcy case and § 363 sale and obtained dismissal of case after sale proceeds were distributed.
  • Represented numerous chapter 7 trustees in § 363 sales, exemption issues and other bankruptcy specific matters resulting in successful outcomes and favorable settlements.
  • Represented numerous chapter 7 trustees and defendants in avoidance actions (§ 547 preferences, § 548 fraudulent transfers, breach of fiduciary duty, and other claims) resulting in favorable settlements and successful trial outcomes.
  • Represented mechanic’s lien claimant in state court foreclosure action and trust fund litigation in bankruptcy court and obtained favorable settlement.
  • Represented commercial landlords in connection with lease negotiations and tenant evictions.
